In a previous video I mentioned the disappearance of Tammy Lynn Leppert. Incase you guys forgot or did not watch that video I'll quickly give you a background of her and the circumstances leading up to her disappearance.
Today we are delving deep into all the theories on the strange disappearance of Tammy Lynn Leppert.
Tammy was very talented and beautiful from a young age. She competed in a lot of beauty pageants and won Little Miss Firecracker and Little Miss Talent titles.
Tammy's mom Linda Curtis was a theatrical and modeling agent. She owned Galaxy Productions and managed her little girl to Stardom.
Tammy wanted to be a successful actress in Los Angeles however. She starred in movies such as Little Darlings, Springbreak and Scarface.
After the filming of Spring Break she went on a weekend party on her own. She returned very sullen and shy which was strange since she was always very bubbly and extroverted.
One of her friends even later said that it felt like a completely different person came back. During the filming of Scarface in one of the scenes one of the characters were to be shot and have fake blood spurt out. Tammy Lynn went hysterical and went home.
A few days later she would again go hysterical when a gust of wind blew the door behind her closed. She later confided to her mom and her friend Rick Adams that she saw something she shouldn't have seen and that she is going to get killed for it.
She refused to eat or drink anything out of an open container in fear of getting poisoned.
On the 6th of July, 1983, Leppert pulled on a denim shirt with flowers on the front, a matching skirt, and sandals. Then she climbed into the car of her friend, Keith Roberts. The two were planning on driving down to Cocoa Beach in Florida for the day. Cocoa Beach was Tammy’s favourite place in the world. However, on the way there, the two friends had an argument and Roberts dropped Leppert off “in a parking lot” along State Road A1A. This was the last time Tammy Lynn Leppert was ever seen.
Now it is time to delve deeper into the theories.
The first one is that her friend Keith Roberts had killed her. Tammy left her shoes and purse in his car after he left her in the parking lot. That seems pretty strange to me. That is not things she would have left with him if she had to go home.
It is known that after Keith left her and drove off that she made a flurry of phone calls. She left three urgent messages for her aunt Ginger Kolsch, at her shop in Cocoa Beach.
She also made a phone call to her friend Ron Abeles who owned a video store nearby. He too wasn't in to take the call.
Tammy's mom would also later state that she felt Tammy was afraid of Keith. Two years after Tammy Lynn disappeared Keith married a Terry Lynn quite the coincidence. Anyways, he would beat her numerous times. He also told her that she will end up like Tammy. On one occasion he was arrested for beating his wife, but all charges were dropped.
During the autopsy of Tammy they found out she was 3 months pregnant. It could very well have been Keith's and that was maybe the reason they were arguing.
The second theory is that she simply ran away. Her friend Ron said that Tammy's mom put too much pressure on her and she often talked about just running away. This theory is backed up by Keith Roberts who claimed that Tammy was unhappy at home and wanted him to take her to Fort Lauderdale, but he could only drive her to Cocoa Beach.
The third theory is that she was abducted and killed after leaving Roberts car by a serial killer. A serial killer by the name of Christopher Wilder. He killed 8 or 9 women in the area at a similar time. The fact that makes this theory plausible is that Tammy and Christopher actually met at the filming of Spring Break so there is a connection.
The fourth theory is that she actually was killed for seeing something she should not have seen at the weekend party after the filming of Spring Break. To this day it is not known what exactly she saw at this party. Seeing how paranoid she was and on edge it must have been something serious.
